White, who has nearly three decades of experience in product design, virtualization, BC and DR, comes to DataGravity from VMware, where he most recently served as one of the company’s integration architects. While at VMware, he worked with customers, developers and product managers to engineer solutions that addressed customer needs.
In his role at DataGravity, he will focus on storage and application integration. He will also provide day-to-day support for customers involved in the company’s Early Access Program, an initiative that is informing the development of DataGravity solutions. In this position, he will collaborate with the director of product management, intelligence to ensure that the company’s technology helps businesses get the information they need from the vast amounts of data they create and store.

Prior to joining VMware in 2006, White held technical leadership roles at several companies, including ComputerLand Canada, Encor and Metafore. His dozens of technical certifications include several from the SANS Institute, VMware, Lotus and Novell. He is a frequent presenter on BC and DR at VMworld, VMware Partner Exchange and EMC World.
He studied at Grant MacEwan Community College, where he earned a diploma in microcomputer management.
