Grau Data and Secomba Form Partnership

GRAU DATA AG and Augsburg-based Secomba GmbH have become partners.

Since the beginning of December, Secomba’s Boxcryptorwww.boxcryptor.com product has made it possible to encrypt data in the GRAU DataSpace professional file sharing solution.

Like DataSpace, the encryption software supports all major desktop and mobile platforms, such as Windows, iOS/OSX and Android.

DataSpace offers users the option of encrypted data transmission (SSL) over the internet. Boxcryptor affords tighter security for information storage. The data is encrypted (AES-256) right on the user’s terminal, which ensures that even after it is sent to the DataSpace file sharing solution it is also saved in encrypted form.

The most recent Boxcryptor version, which interfaces with DataSpace, is available as a free download for private use from app stores. For business customers, a licence costs €72 per year. Graduated pricing is planned for larger companies or teams.
