BC/DR Simpler With Zerto Virtual Replication 3.1

Zerto, Inc. introduced Zerto Virtual Replication (ZVR) 3.1, which builds on ZVR 3.0 to centralize and simplify DR with scalability, maintainability and alerting capabilities.

Through hypervisor-based replication technology, it enables both cloud service providers and enterprises to manage workload protection to meet business needs, while ensuring minimal downtime.

Zerto Cloud Manager – BC/DR Management
In ZVR 3.0, the business introduced the Zerto Cloud Manager (ZCM), which provided one view of all customer (or department) resources and service levels across physical locations. This version extends these capabilities providing CSPs and enterprises one pane of glass for management, orchestration, reporting and monitoring of BC/DR operations across multiple sites. IT administrators can protect and mobilize production workloads between multiple locations within a single web-based user interface with just a few clicks.

Flexible Journal
The journal enables recovery to multiple points in time, ensuring recovery from disasters and logical corruptions. With 3.1, the size of the journal increases and decreases based on the amount of changed data, eliminating the management overhead of maintaining journal size and ensuring protection even when applications generate large bursts of data.

Additional features include:

Increased manageability of alerts and events with a centralized tab for cause/effect analysis

Expanded REST API capabilities for orchestration, events and alerts

Environment maintenance using VRA tabs and workflows
