Nexenta and Mirantis Collaborate

Nexenta Systems, Inc. and Mirantis, Inc., pure-play openStack vendor, partner to develop and deliver enterprise solutions that help cloud solution providers and enterprises simplify and harden large-scale, cloud deployments based on Nexenta’s Software Defined Storage (SDS) platform and Mirantis OpenStack distribution.

Through this partnership, NexentaStor, the SDS platform on any commodity hardware, will integrate with Mirantis OpenStack to help simplify customer experience for large-scale and complex openStack deployments in both public and private cloud environments.

Nexenta and Mirantis solutions help customers escape from vendor lock-in, in cloud deployments and tap into the innovation of the OpenStack community.

Customers include ScaleMatrix, Inc. based in San Diego, CA. It’s a provider of cloud services to public and private sector organizations along with infrastructure technologies from systems vendors, including Nexenta Systems, Inc., Mirantis Inc. and Dell, Inc.
