NEC Delivering Consumer Cloud Storage Service for T-Mobile

The cloud service became available for T-Mobile Netherlands’ customers T-Mobile cloud gives users a personal cloud environment with the ability to access 5GB of free online storage. They will be able to store, view and edit various files, including photos and documents through a modern, personal cloud-focused user interface, and share files or folders with their family and friends.
The files in the online storage are accessible from all major OSs on connected devices, such as smart phones, tablets and PCs. Users can pay for additional capacity at affordable prices: 25GB for €2.99 per month, 50GB for €5.99 and 100GB for €8.99.NEC, together with its partner Private Planet Ltd, has served as an integral part of this project by implementing myCloudPlanet as a platform of T-Mobile Cloud and hosting the platform from the data centre located in Netherlands.
The platform is designed to simplify and accelerate the delivery of carrier grade personal cloud services, such as cloud storage, cloud data sharing and address book synchronisation.
