Horizon DataSys Corporation, a privately-held software company headquartered in Blaine, WA, announces that its RollBack Rx Server Edition is available for Windows Server, enabling IT administrators to backup and restore enterprise servers withins, rather than minutes.

It is a real-time enterprise backup and restore solution with multiple recovery points (or snapshots), enabling network managers to restore back to any of these previous snapshots withins. It integrates with Windows Server to create instant bit-for-bit replication of all the server arrays. The latest release, RollBack Rx Server Edition, has been optimized for Windows Server 2012 and supports all major partitioning systems (MBR and GPT) and firmware interfaces (BIOS and UEFI/EFI).

This fast sector-mapping reduces data replication times and allows for more frequent snapshots – which can be as often as every minute – and facilitates the storage of many thousands of these snapshots using little harddisk storage space.
