Leef Technology Launches microSD and SD Memory Cards

Leef Technology LTD. launched its PRO Cards, a line of microSD and SD memory cards, both using the UHS-I technology.

Developed with a processing speed of 300X – about four times faster than standard cards – it read and write data up to 45MB/s in 4-bit transfer mode.

“It’s never been easier to take crisp HD video and professional-grade photos on your mobile phone or camera,” said Jesse Barrus, designer, Leef. “The latest innovations from the Leef engineering group matches the performance of the cards with the capabilities of the phone or camera.”

The cards are brilliant white. They utilize the company’s PrimeGrade Memory. It consists of 100% functional memory die-sealed into a thermoplastic casing, making it waterproof and shock resistant to protect data from life’s accidents. This also helps deliver a rapid data stream rate and ensures high-speed storage.

Other features include:

• Optimization – It is optimized for the latest generation of devices, including Android smartphones and tablets and sport and action HD camcorders.

• SD Adapter – Each memory card includes an adapter for compatibility with SD slots.

This continues the company’s streak of building products for cameras and mobile phones, including Leef Bridge, a USB flash drive for file sharing between Android devices, Macs and PCs. The company’s approach to design was recognized in 2012 by PC Magazine – Russian Edition, which awarded Leef Fuse Best of the Year 2012 in the flash drive category.

Cards come with a 5-year limited warranty and are available for pre-order purchase and will become available on in January 2014.

• Leef PRO microSD cards come with a microSD to SD adapter and are available for a suggested retail price of $24.99 for the 16GB model, $44.99 for the 32GB model and $84.99 for the 64GB model.

• Leef PRO SD cards are available for a suggested retail price of $24.99 for the 16GB model, $44.99 for the 32GB model and $84.99 for the 64GB model.

• In addition, Leef PRO Cards are available for purchase at retailers in several international countries including Russia, Asia, Central Europe and Latin America.
