Idris Grant COO, Yotta280

The addition of the COO function is designed to align the company globally in an effort to best serve the needs of Yotta280 customers. With this enhanced global reach and scale, Yotta280 will provide customers with improved support and prioritize their business goals.
“We are evolving to meet the demands of our growing customer base. The progression we are making today will refine our global execution as we pursue our strategy to be the backup and DR platform for worldwide enterprises,” said Terry Fields, president and CEO, Yotta280.
As COO, Grant will oversee the strategic and operational responsibilities for the company, as well as, spearhead and implement new tactics for the company. Considered an early pioneer in the cloud backup industry dating back to 2000, he will drive the organization in expanding strategic partnerships mergers and acquisitions as well as the global strategy. In his initial focus as COO, he will provide strategic direction in growing Yotta280’s revenue, operations and satellite locations.
He has over 23 years in the IT industry from both an entrepreneurial and a corporate business perspective. After founding DS3 Datavaulting and serving as CTO, which later became part of Terremark Worldwide and Verizon, he subsequently served as the VP of storage and backup for Terremark Worldwide.
“Idris’s proven track record as well as his deep technological knowledge makes him a pronounced asset to Yotta280 and we are looking forward to achieving the next level of success with him on board,” Fields said.
