This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 9, 2013 at 2:56 pmCoreRise Electronics Co., Ltd announces that it’s Comay industrial SSDs have been adopted by the gaming and casino devices manufacturer Gold Club d.o.o.
With the dedicated technical support from CoreRise EMEA distributor LCR d.o.o. (HQ in Hrastovec 1, 1236 Trzin, Slovenia), Gold Club integrates OEM Comay SSDs seamlessly into various series of machines, generating a improved performance and reliability plus a TCO reduction.
“SSDs offer much faster speed than HDDs. However good R/W performance is not only attribute to switch from HDD to SSD. Besides the chasing for a best performance, customers are badly in need of a reliable and secure storage solution that can primarily reinforce the overall device quality and user experience,” said Danijel Markac, who is in charge of the current project from LCR.
“Several SSD brands were evaluated but we finally chose CoreRise as the most competent SSD supplier. CoreRise Comay SSDs do not only deliver very stable high performance, but also combine rugged and reliable features with reasonable prices which we rarely see from any other SSD manufacturers.
“CoreRise proprietary design of Host Power Loss Protection and Over Load Protection on SSDs are significant for gaming and casino devices which often work in demanding environments, as user data can be reliably protected and saved when heavy power load, unstable power supply, or even unexpected power loss happens.
“Advanced AES-128 and AES-256 encryption technology of Comay SSDs makes sure the casino gaming user data is stored in a highly secured and encrypted format, preventing would-be thieves from extracting any data should they ever have access to the drive. During our operations, an optional disk-level password can be set and required prior to system boot, and this adds an extra level of data security assurance for gaming and casino systems which often carry confidential information of many gaming players.”
A large number of casino gaming machines equipped with Comay SSDs have been already shipped worldwide to several tens of countries.
“Not all SSDs are created for casino market. It is a wise choice of our customer to use Comay industrial grade SSDs at no budget increase to build their systems other than to use low profile consumer grade SSDs produced by other SSD companies,” emphasized by Condi Chen, CoreRise CMO, “Comay industrial SSDs, such as Jupiter series, withstand full-in-depth CR-C/E/I tests and evaluations. Our SSDs work steadily in harsh environments such as extended low or high temperature, unstable power supply and heavy work load. Alongside with the reliable and fast SSD, we provide Comay Optimization Software for free by which engineers even without SSD experiences can manage Comay SSDs with convenience and restore the drive performance, assuring the ever-lasting reliable and fast operation of the casino gaming system.”
