Nutanix Distributed by Ingram Micro
Through VARs in Canada and USA
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 5, 2013 at 1:59 pmNutanix, Inc. has entered into a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc.,
Under the terms of the agreement the Nutanix Virtual Computing Platform is available to Ingram Micro’s portfolio of VARs throughout Canada and US.
Nutanix is building the next generation of datacenters, offering enterprises a scalable and cost-effective solution for running any virtual workload. The Virtual Computing Platform is a converged solution that consolidates the compute and storage tiers into a single, integrated appliance. It eliminates the need for centralized storage, such as SANs or NAS products. Its pay-as-you-grow model enables customers the flexibility to add nodes individually, so they can start small and scale incrementally.
“Nutanix is seeing explosive growth not only in Canada, but all over the world,” said Anton Granic, senior director of Nutanix Canada. “Teaming with Ingram Micro will help us capitalize on the growing demand for next-generation datacenter solutions and allow Nutanix to deliver our industry-leading convergence solutions to customers across Canada, as well as the US.”
“We are seeing increasing market demand for converged solutions across Canada,” said David Mason, VP sales, Ingram Micro Canada. “This new alliance with Nutanix expands our data center portfolio and builds on our success in bringing to market best-in-class, advanced technologies, solutions and services.”
This announcement builds on Nutanix’s WW channel momentum. The company recently launched the Nutanix Partner Network, a partner program that maximizes productivity and profitability, and announced an alliance with Promark Technology, Inc., an Ingram Micro company, to expand its US distribution within the public sector.
