Armari Offers Open-E DSS V7 in UK
On BrontaStor 822R enterprise storage server
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 4, 2013 at 2:37 pmArmari Ltd., an Open-E, Inc.‘s Silver Partner, introduced BrontaStor 822R to the UK market.
The enterprise storage server with Open-E’s storage software DSS V7 is a fit for offices, schools, home offices or labs – without the need for costly storage racks and a demand for high data security.
The server for the SME market offers performance as well as security. It is powered by a Xeon E3-1200v3 processor with up to 32GB of server memory. This makes the system suitable for building powerful and fully virtualized storage solutions or enterprise network storage with Open-E’s Active-Active Failover for iSCSI volumes. With its compact size and low noise, BrontaStor 822R is a flexible small business solution for users with limited space for their storage.
In addition to this, Open-E DSS V7 provides easy storage management, reliability and flexibility. The server has been certified for HA by Open-E and is recommended for HA storage clusters, iSCSI storage and virtual environments by Open-E’s storage engineers.
“With the BrontaStor 822R server, SME users with limited space can set up a cost-effective storage solution, at the same time keeping their data safe in a HA environment“, said Krzysztof Franek, CEO and president, Open-E. “By certifying this storage system we were able to test the server with Open-E DSS V7 in our own labs – and the results speak for themselves.”
BrontaStor 822R-E4 is available in both reseller barebones and retail versions from the middle of December.
