On January 6, 2014, Symantec will cease selling Backup Exec.cloud.
If you are an existing customer, you will have use of the service until the end of service availability on January 6, 2015, or the end of your current annual service period, whichever is sooner.
After January 6, 2015, customers will no longer be able to log into the service. Technical Support services for Backup Exec.cloud will close January 6, 2015.
Taking this into consideration and carefully evaluating the overall needs of our customer base, we have decided that Backup Exec.cloud is not the best platform for offering exciting new features and functionality.
