IBackup Revamps Online Backup Software

Online Backup provider IBackup (IDrive Inc.) announced a revamped version of its service.

Updates include redesigned website and software, integrated mobile backup apps, backend updates, and a reseller initiative.

The company offers enterprise online backup for SMBs. They report over 100,000 small businesses protect their data using IBackup.

Some additions to the software include:

Graphical facelift.

Updates to the IBackup software for Windows and Mac OS.

One-touch backup/restore for for iOS and Android devices.

Built-in integration for MS-SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and other server backups.

Also included in the update is the DR plan – designed to allow users to send backed-up data to a secondary device, allowing access in case a primary machine or office becomes unavailable.

“This version of IBackup is heavily based on feedback received from our users and channel partners.” said Raghu Kulkarni, CEO, IDrive Inc. developer of IBackup. “IBackup 10 is the easiest to implement version of the software we’ve ever made; individual users and partners alike can quickly secure any number of machines from disaster.”

Along with the software changes, an upgraded partner program provides capabilities for partners to acquire users, including a bulk reseller program. Resellers can leverage the architecture in their own service offerings. Qualifying resellers will also be able to co-brand their software, to extend their brand offering.
