Patent Infringement Suits by Crossroads
Vs. Tandberg, Dell, and Huawei

Ltd., Huawei Enterprise USA Inc., and Huawei Technologies USA Inc. in the federal district court in Austin, TX, alleging infringement of U.S. Patents 6,425,035; 7,051,147; and 7,934,041 “Storage router and method for providing virtual local storage“.
Crossroads seeks monetary damages and an injunction.
It asserts that Tandberg has incorporated patented technology into Tandberg’s BizNAS family of devices, DPS1000 Series VTLs, and DPS2000 Series Network-Attached Data Protection Solution.
Crossroads asserts that the Huawei entities have incorporated patented technology into Huawei’s OceanStor S2200T Storage System, OceanStor S6800T Storage System, and OceanStor T Series Unified Storage Systems.
Crossroads asserts that Dell has incorporated patented technology into Dell’s PowerVault MD3200i, MD3600i and MD3600f systems.
The asserted patents cover technology that is fundamental to secure and efficient access to network storage systems. The asserted patents are part of Crossroads’ ‘972 Patent Family. Since 2001, Crossroads has licensed the ‘972 Patent Family to more than 40 companies and received in excess of $60 million in license and settlement revenue.
