ZeroNines in Collaboration Agreement With Intel
On new usage models for caching and NVM storage solutions

As part of the agreement they to complete R&D collaboration on new usage models for caching and NVM storage solutions. The agreement combines ZeroNines storage experience with Intel’s Cache Acceleration Software to explore research possibilities in next generation I/O technologies for data availability, acceleration and latency reduction.
Jake Smith, GM, data center software division, Intel, stated: “This collaboration agreement provides additional proven resources to our R&D efforts in software defined storage. We look forward to working with the ZeroNines Technologies team to explore new usage models and develop products in the near future.”
Alan Gin, CEO, ZeroNines, commented: “Our thirteen year relationship with Intel along with key research projects has created the foundation for collaboration and trust. Our combined expertise in large scale data center HA will further define solutions in the cloud computing, big data and internet of things space.”
John C. Botdorf, chairman, ZeroNines, added: “We are also pleased to announce we have recently become an Intel Portfolio company. Intel’s financial alignment with our company will help drive our collective interest to design and create next generation products. We look forward to concluding some exciting projects with them.”
