Across servers, HA, security, networking and big data

As flash memory continues to redefine enterprise and HPC, Fusion-io, Inc. will be showcasing a number of companies that complement flash memory architectures on its booth at the SuperComputing 2013 trade show held November 18-21 in Denver, CO.

Flash memory offers powerful cost savings and performance benefits for the data-intensive applications that are critical for enterprise and HPC,” said Gary Orenstein, Fusion-io EVP. “With solutions that complement flash architectures across servers, networking, HA, security and big data application optimization, the innovative Technology Alliance Partners featured in the Fusion-io booth at SuperComputing demonstrate that flash memory is a critical element of today’s IT infrastructure.”

Emulex Corp. showcased its line of ultra high-performance I/O connectivity offerings, which have been designed into server and storage solutions from OEMs and can be found in the data centers of nearly all of the Fortune 1000.

Hyve Solutions, a division of SYNNEX Corporation, demonstrated its energy-efficient Open Compute Project servers and storage products. The vanity-free hyperscale Hyve Solutions products are cost effective and built to actual workloads and data center environments.

One Stop Systems, Inc. showcased its new Flash Storage Array, which supports up to 32 ioScale products to deliver 100TB of application acceleration.

Data protection firm SIOS Technology Corp. exhibited HA SAN and #SANLess cluster software solutions for mission-critical applications in Windows and Linux environments. SIOS #SANLess clusters are easy to implement, easy to use, and easy to manage, eliminating the complexity and capital expenditures associated with traditional SAN-based HA and DR approaches.

In low-latency 10GbE server networking solutions, Solarflare Communications, Inc. showcased its application-intelligent networking I/O hardware and software products that bridge the gap between applications and the network, delivering improved performance, increased scalability, and higher ROI. These solutions provide performance in a range of scale-our server environments such as high frequency trading, HPC, cloud virtualization and big data.

Sqrrl Data, Inc. exhibited its secure and scalable NoSQL database for real-time big data applications that is powered by Apache Accumulo and the Hadoop big data platform. Apache Accumulo is a powerful NoSQL database used throughout the federal government and by various industries, such as healthcare, finance, and telecommunications. It extends the capabilities of Accumulo with additional management, security, and real-time analytical features.

Super Micro Computer, Inc. showcased its high-performance, high-efficiency server platforms optimized to deliver I/O performance with Fusion-io’s flash memory architecture. Traditional databases, No-SQL databases, file/object storage and VDI can benefit from thesee accelerated computing and storage solutions.
