Pinnacle Africa to Distribute Seagate Internal HDDs

Pinnacle Africa (Pty) Ltd will begin distributing Seagate Technology LLC‘s internal HDDs, reflecting its growth in the component distribution market.

This is an exciting time in the storage industry with evolving opportunities in many markets including SSD, cloud computing and mobile computing. The PELS market grew by 10.7% year on year with 16.8 million units shipped in 2Q13, according to the International Data Corporation’s Worldwide Personal and Entry Level Storage Tracker.
