Nimbox Presents Cloud Services
File sharing and backup, backed by UK privacy laws and hosted in England
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 15, 2013 at 2:46 pmNimbox (Cloud Portal Services Limited) presented its service that offers corporate users a file sharing and backup solution, backed by UK privacy laws and hosted in England.
Enhancing productivity and team collaboration, its an advantage for company concerned about privacy and data protection legislation. The solution enables users to upload, backup, share and edit files between teams and individuals, both in and outside of an organisation.
Unlike current file sharing and many cloud backup services, it has been created for corporate use, offering security standards.
Through a platform employees can access files through facilities including an online portal, a mobile application and a desktop file system.
A Nimbox representative said: “As a business we know how important data is, so we have chosen to own, control and where necessary custom-build our own software and equipment to ensure that our customers receive the best. As standard, our solution has private key management, at rest and in transit AES-256 encryption. Nimbox is owned and operated from ISO 27001 compliant Data Centres in the United Kingdom, unlike other commercial cloud sharing systems; we are positioned to protect your data from legislation such as the Patriot Act – protecting your files from being viewed by the U.S. Government at any time, often without your knowledge.”
It also gives IT managers control of both CloudDrive and backup services, where the administrator can monitor usage, create custom snapshots, generate reports and decide which files can be shared in and out of the organisation.
As the solution is provided as a service, over traditional backup and sharing solutions, Nimbox reduces TCO.
