On October 29-30 2013, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the total number of unique attendees at SNW Europe, part of several events under the title of Powering the Cloud including also Datacenter Technologies and Virtualization World, reached 1,642. It was 1,647 last year in the same place.
Total unique quality delegates across the two days reached 1,261, up 4% on 2012.
The number of booths decreased slightly, from 73 to 72, 28 of which were new to the events for 2013.
58 journalists, bloggers and analysts attended from a 14 countries.
The organizer, Angel Business Communications, promise that there will be “a significant change” for next year. The name SNW Europe will disappear, the even being named Powering the Cloud, even if the partnership with SNIA Europe will continue. Next show will be highlighting six thematic pillars of the conferences: storage, virtualization, data centre, big data, security and managed services.
Powering the Cloud 2014 will take place on October 28-29, 2014 in the same venue.
