Distributor Entatech and Kingston Strengthen Relationship

To penetrate corporate market with branded memories

Entatech UK Ltd and Kingston Technology Corporation announced new distribution contract for Kingston’s System Specific Memory (SSM).

This new agreement will enable Entatech to penetrate the corporate market, offering new and current customers the branded memory range from Kingston. The range will also compliment the Fujitsu products that Entatech distribute and increase potential attachment opportunities with this vendor.

Since establishing their business relationship in 2008, Entatech and Kingston have worked together to develop a strong customer database and have achieved Y/Y sales growth of Kingston’s range of SSD’s, memory and media products.

Ann Keefe, Kingston regional director, UK & Ireland, commented: “Our relationship with Entatech has continued to go from strength to strength and this new business opportunity will enable our partnership to develop further. Kingston has a focus on the server and workstation sector with our pre-sales KingstonConsult service that is available to the channel and their enterprise clients. Since taking on the Fujitsu server range of products Entatech have demonstrated that they have the experience and knowledge to help us to grow this business further with their resellers within this sector.

To coincide with the agreement, Entatech will be promoting KingstonCare, Kingston’s free, value-added post sales service – a suite of services that are designed to keep customers up and running. This ensures all customers are provided with quality products that are backed by service. Entatech will also be implementing Kingston’s configurator onto Entaonline.com, aiding customers as to the memory solutions to cater for their needs from a range of options.

Jon Atherton, Entatech director, commented: “We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with Kingston Technology even further with this new agreement. Since our launch, over 5 years ago, our sales and customer base for Kingston products has continued to grow and I am more than confident that this will develop further with the sales of Kingston’s SSM memory.

This recent announcement follows Entatech’s success with other partners, including Fujitsu. Since September 2012, Entatech have been distributing Fujitsu’s range of laptops, desktops, tablets and server solutions. In June 2013 Entatech opened a new sales office in Leatherhead, with two dedicated Fujitsu server specialists on board, and have achieved an increase in server sales ina few short months.
