Ron Nash CEO, Pivot3
Replacing founder Bill Galloway now CTO

With experience at Pivot3 as an investor, member of the board of directors, and chairman, he will be responsible for accelerating the adoption of solutions in the market and strengthening momentum following its recent $14 million funding round.

I see the company at an inflection point for higher growth and am very optimistic about its future,” said Nash. “Having led both small and large companies through rapid growth periods to significant scale and business success, I sawthat I could help this team as they accelerate. Pivot3 serves customers and partners in the VDI and surveillance markets by providing out-of-the-box software-defined storage solutions that are high-performance, easy-to-deploy and cost-effective. I am very excited to join the Austin and Houston based teams that will propel Pivot3 to even greater success.”
A veteran technology industry executive, Nash has driven growth when he led smaller companies like ExoLink (acquired by Alliance Data Systems), Advanced Telemarketing (now Aegis Global) and Rubicon (acquired by Cerner), as well as at larger information technology companies like Perot Systems (now Dell Services) and EDS (now HP Enterprise Services). He was a SVP at Perot Systems as they grew revenue from $100 million to $1.2 billion and played a key role in their IPO in 1999. Early in his career, he served in a variety of technical and business leadership roles at EDS. More recently, he served as a partner at InterWest Partners, investing in breakthrough technology companies like Pivot3 and Lombardi Software (acquired by IBM).

Nash holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Administrative Sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in finance, as well as a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in information and control systems. He has been recognized as a distinguished graduate by both universities for his business and volunteer activities.
