Edge Memory Adding Boost Server 7mm 2.5-Inch SSDs

EDGE Memory released the Boost Server 7mm SSD -SATA 6Gb/s.

It is a new addition to the EDGE Boost Server line, joining the high-capacity Boost Server 15mm SSD product line, with capacities ranging from 50GB to 480GB.

An enterprise SandForce controller provides the Boost Server 7mm SSD with data enhancements as well as fast R/W and IO/s speeds. It consumes less power per transaction than HDDs, lowering energy costs and increasing efficiency.

Power Fail support protects against data loss in the event of system power failure – an essential function for servers and mission critical applications.

Optional eMLC flash and SLC flash are available, solidifying the Boost Server SSD line as a reliable enterprise solution. Boost Server 7mm SSDs come standard with 256-bit AES hardware encryption and a suite of features such as TRIM, ECC, DuraWrite, and RAISE.
