Brocade 16Gb FC SAN Connectivity for EMC VMAX

Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., announced that its Gen 5 FC SAN solutions are supported with the EMC VMAX product family.

The combined EMC and Brocade Gen 5 FC solution enables networking and storage to support virtualized cloud infrastructures. This solution allows enterprises to deploy a storage infrastructure featuring EMC Connectrix 16Gb FC modular and fixed-port switches and 16Gb FC-capable VMAX storage arrays. Brocade Gen 5 FC SAN switches are sold by EMC under the Connectrix brand.
