Further Review of Decision in Seagate Vs. WD Case

In a SEC filing, Western Digital Corporation wrote:

On October 15, 2013, Western Digital Corporation was informed that the Minnesota Supreme Court granted its petition for further review of the decision of the Court of Appeals in the matter of Seagate Technology, LLC vs. Western Digital Corporation, et al.

The order provides that the parties will file briefs with the Court, and the Court will subsequently set the matter for argument before the Court.

As previously reported, on July 22, 2013, the Court of Appeals of the State of Minnesota reversed the decision of the District Court of Hennepin County, Minnesota, which on October 12, 2012 had vacated a $630.4 million final arbitration award against the Company and ordered a rehearing of certain claims in the arbitration between the company and Seagate.
