This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 2, 2013 at 2:50 pmEnterprise file sharing and sync Vaultize (earlier Anoosmar Technologies Private Limited) announced the worldwide launch of cloud-in-a-box appliance series.
The series improves up on the previous one with new generation hardware, and optimized for enterprise file sharing and anytime-anywhere access in line with the trend of consumerization of mobile devices and BYOD. The company provides secure file sync-and-share appliances and private cloud.
The series starts from 100 user and can scale to thousands of users with de-dupe storage capacity of 3TB to 100TB.
Cloud-based file sharing and proliferation of mobile devices have changed the way people access and share information. People are using consumer services and devices even for their official work, and hence, organization’s sensitive data is residing in third-party clouds and employee devices without the knowledge and control of IT – posing data loss, security and compliance risks to organizations. This provides enterprise control and visibility in file sharing and secure access but also, enables security and data protection features like enterprise wiping, endpoint encryption and endpoint backup.
“Vaultize cloud-in-a-box appliances have been very popular across enterprises and our new appliance series improves the file sharing experience for its users,” said Vivek Anand, VP sales, Vaultize. “Even large enterprises dealing with sensitive information, including financial and research organizations, are relying on Vaultize to provide secure access to corporate data beyond firewall. Vaultize enterprise cloud securely relays files from corporate network to roaming endpoints i.e. laptops/smartphone/tablets, without VPN – just like Blackberry enterprise server relays emails from corporate network.”
Through the endpoint encryption, corporate’s information remains encrypted on endpoints, ensuring protection against unauthorized access and potential data leakage from lost or stolen devices. In addition to the on-disk protection, The patent pending encryption technology that encrypts data at source, together with client-side de-dupe, ensures that the data is encrypted or decrypted only on endpoints – guaranteeing end-to-end protection.
