Teledyne LeCroy Upgrades USB 3.0 Protocol Analyzer
Faster access to trace captures
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 19, 2013 at 2:30 pmTeledyne LeCroy, Inc., in protocol test solutions, has upgraded its USB protocol analyzer platform to incorporate a native USB 3.0 data upload port.
As a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 device, the new Voyager M3x transfers captured trace data at speeds up to 400MB/s. Featuring both Gigabit Ethernet and SuperSpeed USB upload ports, it can reduce debug time and provide faster workflow for developers testing USB 3.0 systems and devices.
"Teledyne LeCroy’s protocol analyzer platforms represent an ideal usage case for SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data upload," said Michael Romm, VP product development at Teledyne LeCroy’s protocol solutions group. "Faster data access combined with the industry’s most accurate analog probing technology make the Voyager M3x unbeatable for USB 3.0 validation."
The Voyager M3x is based on Teledyne LeCroy’s Voyager M3i and offers the same analyzer, exerciser, and compliance test capabilities found in the system. In addition to a new smaller form-factor, it includes a built-in CrossSync port that enables time-aligned display of protocol traffic from multiple daisy-chained analyzer systems. The CrossSync functionality is backward compatible with previous generation analyzer systems (for legacy systems equipped with sync ports).
The Voyager M3x begins shipping in September 2013.
