Quadric Software Delivers Beta Backup and DR

Quadric Software, Inc., in virtual backup and DR software,
announced a beta
program giving users early access to a version of the Alike
solution that extends its backup and DR support to physical systems.

Organizations can use Alike to protect their virtual environments
as well as their physical systems.

This version is the latest milestone in the company development
strategy to deliver a solution for solving all the backup and DR
challenges of diverse computing environments. In May, the company
launched v3.0, which added support for Hyper-V to its BDR
capabilities for Xenserver.

"By expanding support to physical systems, the Alike BDR
solution will vastly simplify the management of complex IT
infrastructures," said Phil Baskette, co-founder and CEO,
Quadric. "With this new offering, we’re
streamlining what is quite frankly a cumbersome process."

MSPs will be among the organizations benefiting from the solution.
The MSP Advantage program can be used by MSPs to generate revenue by
delivering pay-as-you-go backup, replication, and DR services for
their customers’ physical machines as well as their VMs.
