StorageDNA Collaborates With 1 Beyond

StorageDNA, Inc., in intelligent
storage and archiving workflow solutions for media professionals, is collaborating with 1 Beyond, Inc.,
a systems manufacturer for the professional video market, to deliver a
archive-retrieval workflow solution.

The new offering combines the benefits of 1 Beyond’s portable, all-in-one LTO archive appliance, LTOMach, with StorageDNA’s LTO and LTFS archive, retrieval, and direct access software, DNA
Evolution.

By integrating the two technologies, media professionals now have access to a solution that is pre-configured and ready out-of-the-box, making it for field and studio data management, as well as post production
archive-restore workflows.

rugged, and self-contained hardware

• Includes a high performance Mac running OS X, with 4TB of database disk and an
  LTO-6 tape drive with LTFS.
• Scalable with fourteen external ports: 1 GbE, Thunderbolt, 4 USB 3.0, 4
  eSATA 6Gb, HDMI, Wi-Fi (with iPad interface), Bluetooth, audio in/out.
• No external wires, cables, cards or converter boxes.

StorageDNA’s
DNA Evolution is a platform that combines nearline and archive storage on LTO
tape and was designed to help media professionals manage
