Manish Goel, EVP, Product Operations, Resigned From NetApp

netapp_goel_03 In a SEC filing dated September 9, 2013, NetApp, Inc. stated that Manish Goel, EVP, product operations, resigned from the company, effective as of September 20, 2013.

He was at NetApp since 2002 and is replaced by George Kurian, SVP of NetApp Data Ontap group.

netapp_kurian Prior to joining NetApp, Kurian was VP and GM of the application networking and switching technology group at
Cisco Systems. In this role, he was responsible for Cisco products for
the modular campus LAN switching and WAN application delivery markets.
He also led Cisco’s development of products and solutions to
enable Ethernet-based converged networks for video, voice and data.

Prior to Cisco, he was VP product management and strategy at Akamai Technologies, a management consultant
with McKinsey and Company and led software engineering and product lanagement teams at Oracle Corporation.

Kurian holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
degree from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration
degree from Stanford University.
