Compuverde AB, a big storage solution for
service providers, telecommunications companies and enterprises, delivers support for VMware ESXi ecosystem.
This update supports compatibility with VMware’s portfolio of VM solutions.
Compuverde
now supports VMware virtual environments using ESXi-based hypervisors, enabling
unparalleled flexibility and compatibility.
Scales out to thousands of VMs
With Compuverde’s solution, customers have the
ability to rapidly add thousands of VMs to the same cluster, eliminating the
cost and hassle of building a new cluster to
accommodate scale-out.
Service providers and major enterprises are struggling with the energy demands
and performance latency associated with scale-out virtual environments.
Linear scaling. Customers can add more nodes to a cluster while simultaneously
boosting the capacity of each node, realizing substantial gains in ROI and VM
performance.
Hardware-agnostic. Compuverde’s software-defined storage solution jettisons the
need for expensive hardware. By bringing reliability and performance to the
software level, telcos, service
providers and large enterprises are able to choose lower-energy, lower-cost
commodity hardware without sacrificing
speed.
Stefan Bernbo, CEO and founder, Compuverde, said: "With the flexibility gains offered by virtual computing comes a host of
energy and performance latency challenges. By offering integration with VMware ESXi-based hypervisors, our next-generation
software-defined storage solution is poised to solve the energy and performance
challenges associated with scale-out virtual environments for large enterprises
everywhere."
