Spansion Filed Complaint Regarding Flash Memory Chips

This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on September 16, 2013 at 3:01 pmOn September 4, 2013, the U.S. International Trade Commission voted to institute an investigation of Certain Flash Memory Chips and Products Containing Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-893).
The investigation is based on an August 1, 2013 complaint filed by Spansion LLC of Sunnyvale, CA alleging violation of Section 337 in the importation into the U.S. and sale of certain flash memory chips and downstream products containing the same that infringe one or more claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,369,416; 6,900,124; 7,018,922; 6,459,625; 7,151,027; and 6,731,536.

Lastly, Chief ALJ Charles E. Bullock issued a notice indicating that E. James Gildea will be the presiding administrative law judge in this investigation.
