The drive offers EncryptStick Lite software, a security solution
with 256-bit AES encryption for data protection, the ability to
create a single password-protected vault that encrypts data, and a
file shredder feature that deletes files from the device so they
cannot be restored. Additionally, the drive sports an always-on
capacity meter to determine available storage space at a glance, even
when disconnected.

The JumpDrive M10 Secure is designed for on-the-go
executives, power business users, or anyone holding sensitive
information who may want more data security than the average
person,”
said Aaron Lee, director of product marketing, Lexar. “With the ability to create password-protected vaults that
automatically encrypt data and virtually ‘shred’ deleted files,
customers can rest assured that their data is safe and secure.

Offering read speeds up to 100MB/s on all capacities,
the drive
features write speeds of:

  • Up to 20MB/s on 16GB capacity,
  • Up to 30MB/s on 32GB capacities, and
  • Up to 55MB/s on 64GB and 128GB capacities.

Such speeds allow users to transfer a 3GB HD video clip in less
than 90s, 13 times faster than the 20 minutes it takes using a USB
2.0 drive.

It is available with MSRPs of:

  • £27.99 (16GB),
  • £45.99 (32GB),
  • £77.99 (64GB), and
  • £149.99 (128GB)

It includes a three-year limited warranty. All JumpDrive
designs are compatible with PC and Mac systems and are tested in the
company’s Quality Labs to ensure performance, quality, compatibility, and
reliability with more than 1,100 digital devices. The flashdrive is available at retailers and e-tailers worldwide.
