thecus_540

With a redesigned interface along with
support for both iOS6
and Android
Jelly Bean, it was designed to offer features for both novice and
advanced users:

  • Manage files
    (copy/move/rename/delete/create folder)
  • Upload photos and videos from your
    camera or photo library
  • View images with auto-thumbnail
    function
  • Play videos from your Thecus NAS (even
    via AirPlay)
  • Add existing WebDAV server onto your
    Thecus NAS

No matter how far away you are from your
Thecus NAS, as long as there’s internet connectivity you’ll be able
to manage your data. When setting up the app, it allows connections
to local disks, WebDAV servers running on your Thecus systems, as
well as Dropbox. Once connected, users are able to organize files,
backup data, and stream over 20 kinds media files (including MKV,
AVI, RMVB, DIVX, and VOB) to their handset. iOS users can enjoy their
media on AppleTV thanks to inbuilt AirPlay support. Users can enable existing WebDAV servers via T-OnTheGo
and Thecus Intelligent NAS systems can create a free DDNS address.
It allows users to access their NAS via a text-based
internet address (e.g. apple.thecuslink.com).

"Users
want their data to go wherever they do, and they want to remain in
control of it no matter how far away they actually are. That’s where
T-OnTheGo comes in. We wanted to help make users’ data and remote
management of their NAS systems completely mobile. It’s like having
the NAS in your pocket, except without the awkward staring,
"
said Florence Shih, GM, Thecus.
