GreenBytes Partners With ClearCube

GreenBytes, Inc., a developer of virtual desktop storage optimization solutions, announced a partnership
with ClearCube Technology, Inc., a specialist in virtual desktop systems including private cloud solutions, zero
clients, blade PCs and performance workstations.

GreenBytes’ patented zero latency inline deduplication technology, available in the company’s vIO virtual storage appliance, has been integrated
into ClearCube’s Smart VDI (SmartVDI) Series 100 host platform to provide
accelerated performance and additional enterprise features for ClearCube’s
SmartVDI platform.

SmartVDI Series 100 host platform is designed to transition physical personal computer desktops, with all the configurations and
personalization created, onto a virtualized, HA desktop platform in the most
cost-effective manner. Whether deploying linked or full clones, persistent or
non-persistent desktops, ClearCube has configuration options within the
SmartVDI family to optimize VDI compute/storage based on particular needs. With
SmartVDI’s simplified installation and end-to-end control of the VDI
environment, virtualized desktops can be managed with the same tools that are
already familiar for managing physical desktops. The platform has been
purpose-built to deliver a virtual desktop user experience that is
easy to support, scales from 100s to 1,000s of virtual desktops, and offers low
cost-per-seat configurations.
