Jurors find defendants not guilty in Lake Cherokee HDD patent infringement case
Jurors in the patent infringement trial of Lake Cherokee HDD Technologies LLC v. Marvell Semiconductor Inc. delivered a verdict in favor of the defense Friday morning, finding the defendants not guilty of infringement. Lake Cherokee filed the suit in June 2010, claiming that the company along with seven other top technology leaders infringed claims in its U.S. ‘738 and ‘162 patents related to HDD drives.
