FalconStor Joins HP CloudSystem Ready Program

FalconStor Software, Inc. has been qualified as an HP
AllianceONE CloudSystem Ready partner and is working with HP and mutual
channel partners to offer joint FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS)
solutions that allow HP CloudSystem to automate provisioning with a variety of
third-party storage systems.

FalconStor has developed the Storage Provisioning Manager (SPM) adapter for
FalconStor NSS, which enables HP CloudSystem Matrix to employ FalconStor’s
storage virtualization gateway technology for automatic provisioning and
management of any storage system on FalconStor’s extensive hardware
compatibility list. Part of the HP CloudSystem portfolio, HP CloudSystem Matrix
is designed for infrastructure-as-a-service for private and hybrid cloud
environments. The solution includes a self-service portal for automatic storage
provisioning and lifecycle management capabilities that optimize
infrastructure, manage resources and help ensure uptime.

The SPM adapter for FalconStor NSS, which will be available in September, is integrated
with SPM’s ability to perform service-based, on-demand automated storage
provisioning to requested services. It allows any iSCSI or FC storage array
managed by the NSS solution to be recognized, imported and
provisioned by HP CloudSystem without the need for additional storage
vendor-specific SPM adapters.
