For Exchange and Sharepoint 2013 recovery

Datto,
Inc. announced that it offers Kroll
Ontrack Inc.’s PowerControls 7.0 through the
company’s integrated software.
This implementation makes the company a BDR solution provider to offer granular recovery support for
Exchange Server 2013 and SharePoint Server 2013 in addition to having
functionality for preserving and exporting Exchange/SharePoint source
and metadata. Partners can copy existing mailboxes or content to 2013
servers with the service. Using a migration path that does not
require an old server and new server to be online simultaneously, the
software eliminates the redundant work required to get an old server
prepared for coexisting with Exchange and SharePoint 2013.
Through search functionality and the
ability to work directly with backups, IT administrators can search,
identify, copy, restore and export metadata from live environments,
as well as backups, with minimal disruption. This data can then be
exported into standard formats and imported into both E-discovery and
archiving platforms for deeper downstream review and analysis.
"If users need to find a
specific email with a certain keyword, Datto Partners can now simply
initiate a search of all emails and attachments, efficiently
compiling correspondence," said Austin McChord, founder and
CEO, Datto. "The software is also useful in scenarios where
employers need to track and manage workflow using email."
"The integration of Ontrack
PowerControls into Datto’s software platform will allow users to
leverage industry-leading IT tools and provide a stronger end-to-end
BC solution," said Jim Reinert, VP of product development,
Kroll Ontrack.
The integration works with ALTO, SIRIS
and SIRIS Lite. Solutions are scalable to meet the needs of every
business, regardless of size, with options ranging in size from 150GB
to 100TB.
Datto sells through its channel partners.
