Yandex Europe AG offers users
the possibility to buy additional space in its cloud storage service
Yandex.Disk.
Users wishing to have at their disposal more than 20GB of free
storage space may
buy a package of 10GB, 100GB or 1TB for one month or a year.
"Yandex.Disk
now has about 12 million users worldwide,"
said Natalya Khaitina, head of cloud services, Yandex. "For
those of them who need a cloud storage space above 20GB available
for free, we have developed flexible terms for buying more storage
space at affordable prices."
- A 10GB package costs $1 for a month or $10 for a year,
- 100 GB can be purchased for $5 or $50,
- 1TB for $30 or $300,
There is no limit to
the number of packages that a single user may buy – five one-month
packages of 10GB and a whole year of 1TB of storage, or all three
packages at once.
Cloud space that is
not renewed does not evaporate at the end of a paid term – the user
can still access the files stored there, view, download or share
them, but cannot store anything new.
The storage period for the files uploaded to Yandex.Disk is also
unlimited.
Users in any country can pay with MasterCard or Visa, while those in
Russia and Ukraine also have the option of paying with Yandex.Money.
Automatic renewal is available only to users paying by bank card.
It is available in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Turkish.
It can also be downloaded as a desktop application for Windows
or Mac
OS . Mobile users can enjoy the Yandex.Disk app on their
iPhone
or iPad , Android
smartphone or Windows
Phone.
