As SSDs grow in popularity with the implementation of SSDs in enterprise storage, Aberdeen took the wraps off its next generation of NAS that has been engineered to deliver the performance potential and capabilities of an array-based storage device. Featuring enterprise SSDs, the N21 SSD NAS delivers fast speed and high data integrity. Aberdeen has been able to increase capabilities over the typical HDD, with sustained low latency to meet the demands of today’s virtual infrastructure configurations.
"We recognize the need in the marketplace for a high IO/s device for VDI packages and database applications. We wanted the opportunity to present a more affordable option than our competitors to compete for the small business market," said Moshe Ovadya, Aberdeen’s president and CEO.
Aberdeen’s SSD NAS has been designed to balance IO/s, and handle any mixed workload and application type simultaneously with throughput and latency to scale performance and capacity.
