AvePoint Enhances DocAve for SharePoint

AvePoint Inc.
announced the availability of DocAve
Online Service Pack 1, its cloud software platform for
organizations utilizing Office 365.

It features Exchange Online backup and
recovery, which extends the product’s granular backup to data living
in Exchange Online such as calendars, contacts, emails, tasks and
archived Microsoft Lync conversations. This data will be backed up to
Azure, Amazon (S3), Rackspace, or any other storage location
accessible over SFTP. The ability to granularly restore content is
also available, allowing organizations to restore an employee’s
contacts or calendar items without accessing their inbox.

capability of Exchange Online backup and recovery ensures
organizations that their data in Exchange Online, such as contacts,
calendar items, and email, is secure and can be restored in the event

"With the newest release of DocAve Online, AvePoint continues
to provide our customers with the most complete Office 365 solution
to fulfill their business needs while enabling collaboration with
confidence."

It is able to centralize settings,
configurations, and permissions across Office 365 hosted SharePoint
sites. Other features include simplified replication and
synchronization of content; customizable scheduling; and the ability
to copy, move, migrate and restructure SharePoint sites, content, and
configurations within or across SharePoint sites while preserving all
associated permissions and metadata.

Future versions coming later in
2013 will include the company’s reporting solution, DocAve
Report Center.

Any
organization signing up for three years of service will receive six
months at no cost.
