At the same time, many mobile devices lack microSD slot, and almost none support USB flash drives or SD card. Since the device depends on external storage, integrated Tuxera NTFS and exFAT handles unsafe unplug and power off situations and increase the performance.
Launched in April 2013, MobileLite triggered a stream of positive reviews in the media. The device has been thanked for its design, performance, hassle-free storage expansion and effortless media swapping. Unique features include emergency mobile charging, streaming to three different devices at the same time, and the ability to use the Internet and the device simultaneously.
"Kingston packs its latest mobile media hub with innovation and intelligence. Tuxera file system solutions ensure the product supports all kind of USB drives and SD memory cards out of the box including SD, SDHC, SDXC, microSD, and microSDXC standards. Consumers can seamlessly stream, even to three devices at the same time, and playback all digital media," noted Szabolcs Szakacsits, Tuxera president and CTO.
