Nimble Storage Partners With Webhosting.net

Nimble Storage, Inc. has been in partnership with Webhosting.net, Inc., in cloud
storage and DR solutions, to enable Nimble Storage customers to replicate data
directly to the cloud.

Nimble Storage’s CASL architecture allows Webhosting.net to automatically replicate data via accelerated VPN Tunnels to their Nimble
Storage arrays in their secure cloud. Nimble Storage replicates
data to Webhosting.net’s array by transferring compressed, block-level changes
only, thus reducing bandwidth utilization. Webhosting.net uses proprietary WAN
acceleration tools to further reduce the amount of bandwidth customers need to
be able to replicate large amounts of data to the cloud.

Webhosting.net offers VM resources to customers taking advantage of their
replication service and can mirror production servers, Virtual and Physical, to
allow for ultra-fast site recovery. In the case of a disaster this provides IT
managers with almost instant access to their file, database, application and
web servers.

This is for customers seeking a hybrid cloud solution as part of their DR
plan.
