Toshiba Commences Arbitration to Collect Unpaid DVD6C Royalties

The DVD6C Licensing Group, consisting of nine developers of DVD technology, announced that their authorized licensor, Toshiba Corp., has filed a demand for arbitration to collect royalties due from Huizhou Freeway Electronics Co., Ltd. under the DVD6C patent license.

This arbitration is part of a continuing global initiative by the DVD6C Licensing Group to collect unpaid royalties. This is the thirteenth arbitration Toshiba has brought in support of this initiative.
