This feature makes IDrive the only
provider that has integrated backup and restore functionality on
desktop, mobile devices, and via web access.
"Our customers asked us to make
the mobile backup process easier; that is why we created One-Touch,"
stated Raghu Kulkarni, CEO, IDrive. "Other mobile backup
solutions are either access only, limited to solely backing up videos
and photos, or don’t offer cross platform backup and
restore. Our mobile backup solution is fully featured and offers true
mobile backup simplification."
In addition to one-touch, It’s adding
more features to its mobile backup app, including an auto mobile
upload feature that allows for continuous upload of videos and
pictures. Other features include an updated UI, refined to streamline
the user experience and the cross-platform and cross-device
capability that enables users to backup and restore data from
different platforms. This feature enables mobile data, such as
contacts, photos, videos and calendars, to be backed up via Android
and restored into an iOS device, and vice versa.
The backup app offers private key
encryption, meaning only the user knows the key and can access the
data.
IDrive’s enhanced app will be available
on iOS. Android coming soon.
