IBM: Fiscal 2Q13 Financial Results
Revenue of system storage decreased 7% Y/Y

As usual, Big Blue didn’t give a lot of information on its storage activity. Here they are.
Revenue from system storage decreased 7% Y/Y for the quarter. The total amount was not revealed but is less than $1 billion as the company said its was at $1.1 billion in 4Q12. That’s the seventh quarter IBM’s system storage’s sales declined.

Double-digit growth in mid-range Storwize product was offset by declines in legacy OEM mid-range offerings and softness in the high-end. Products offerings contributed two points of Y/Y growth to total storage.
Storage hardware revenue was down 6% at constant currency, but flat including storage software, which is reported in Tivoli.
Tivoli software was up 14% at constant currency with growth in each of the three key business areas. Storage software delivered its 10th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth.
