Novosoft Updates Handy Backup Software

Novosoft LLC announced an update to their software
Handy Backup.

The version
7.4.1 includes modifications of business editions of the software which are
aimed to improve efficiency of centralized backup of business data.

The update facilitates the interaction with
the program for corporate users: the control panel of network server edition
allows installing and setting up software remotely.

the version 7.4.1, Handy Backup makes a further step to a perfect consumer
focused backup software tool. We pay special attention to all the feedback
we’re getting from our users. In this release we’ve brought to life a great
number of features to make the program more agreeable to customer’s needs. The
updated version contains new functions designed to make the remote interaction
with the program easier than before," said Aleksey Dolgushev, head of
Handy Backup business development department.

It also includes an updated WebDAV module
that allows backing up to cloud storages including Dropbox, Box, Yandex.Disk,
CloudMe and others. Backup through WebDAV protocol has become more stable, optimized
for high loads and lots of data being transferred over the WebDAV connection.

The update is free and recommended for all
users.

Versions of Handy Backup for HBDrive and
Yandex.Disk that allows backing up to the particular cloud storage also have
been improved: saving copies to clouds has become more effective.

Along with this release which is
Windows-oriented, the company also invites users to take part in private
testing of Linux edition that will be introduced to the market in the near
future. It’s an opportunity to try all features of upcoming Linux backup
software before an official release date. The solution is aimed to simplify
Linux backup process and to rid users of necessity of writing their own scripts
and using third-party solutions to install Windows oriented software. All
functions available in Windows edition are included in Linux version.
