More Support for Quorum One-Click Backup, Recovery and Continuity Solution
Windows Server 2012, Exchange 2013 and SQL Server 2012
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 25, 2013 at 3:00 pmQuorum, Inc., provider of one-click backup, recovery and continuity for SMBs, announced an upgrade to its solution.
Available in early June, the latest version pre-empts industry rivals in its support for Windows Server 2012, Exchange Server 2013 and SQL Server 2012. Additionally, it delivers enhanced repository resiliency and performance, improved reporting and monitoring capabilities, and better overall usability.
As a complete package for backup, recovery and continuity, the Quorum solution is a DR to ensure SMBs remain always on in the event of system downtime. Its one-click, instant recovery of data, applications and systems eclipses competing solutions, which, in contrast, delay recovery by days or weeks and subsequently send revenue losses skyrocketing.
In the latest release, Quorum builds on its solution’s merits with support for Windows Server 2012, Exchange Server 2013 and SQL Server 2012. Quorum is among the first in the industry to offer this; support for Windows 2012 won’t be available to Symantec Backup Exec 2012 customers until this summer, for example. Fifty usability enhancements have been added, and focus on resiliency and performance for repository and data path. Altogether, the upgrade helps businesses safeguard their revenue, customers and reputation with an easier-to-use, better-performing solution.
"Quorum is dedicated to delivering continuous improvements that focus on SMBs’ needs and requirements. This approach consistently yields an easy-to-use DR product that also speaks to the overarching theme of prolonged system downtime," said Bill Parrish, CEO of Quorum channel partner Optitec Systems. "Now, with broadened support, Quorum can extend its installed base and deliver the same benefits to new customers."
"Quorum has already established itself as major force in DR, with an experienced and growing team that is dedicated to addressing the system downtime woes that plague SMBs," said Larry Lang, CEO, Quorum. "While we’re pleased with the customer feedback on the existing system, our latest upgrade presents yet another reason for other businesses to abandon tape and disk backup, or cloud backup alone, and deploy a solution that actually delivers assured, one-click recovery of their data, applications and systems in minutes."
