C7 Data Centers Customer of Embrane
To enhance DR and private cloud
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 24, 2013 at 3:10 pmEmbrane, Inc., in software-defined network services, announced C7 Data Centers, Inc. (C7) as the latest customer to leverage Embrane for its agile data center and cloud infrastructure.
C7, the Intermountain West’s largest supplier of IT and data center outsourcing services, will leverage the Embrane solution to differentiate its DR and private cloud offerings, and grow its revenue.
C7 prides itself on finding solutions to support its goal of delivering reliable and cost-effective enterprise DR and private cloud services. By integrating Embrane software-defined load balancers and firewalls into its Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) portfolio, C7 can offer its customers increased agility and automation with redundancy for when it matters most – when a failure or disaster strikes.
"While the cloud has taught us that IaaS and DR solutions for compute and storage can be delivered rapidly and in an affordable way, the same can not be said of network services," said Wes Swenson, CEO, C7. "Embrane’s ability to provision business-critical network services in seconds, to easily integrate with our existing infrastructure and its flexible pay-as-you-go pricing model is ideal for C7 and our customers."
Existing co-location customers and enterprises that use C7 for failover will be the initial focus of the new C7 DR solution.
"C7 is the type of innovator that looks to new technologies such as software-defined network services from Embrane to change the rules of the game when it comes to the network, DR, and private cloud solutions," said Jon Beck, SVP of field operations, Embrane. "What better way to differentiate your business, deliver more value to your customers and increase your revenue than bringing new levels of agility and operational simplicity to network services."
