iXsystems TrueNAS Citrix Ready

iXsystems,
Inc. announced that the TrueNAS
Unified Storage Appliance has been verified as Citrix
Ready.

The program helps
customers identify third party solutions that are recommended to
enhance virtualization, networking, and cloud computing solutions
from Citrix. The product completed a verification process to ensure
compatibility with XenServer, providing confidence in joint
solution compatibility.

The Citrix Ready program allows customers to identify complementary
products and solutions that can enhance Citrix environments.
Customers can be confident that the appliance has passed a series of
tests established by Citrix, and can be trusted to work with
XenServer to keep virtual machines available and business running.

It has been verified for use with XenServer through both NFS and
iSCSI. It includes a variety of protocols and services to support
both file-based and block-based usage. Completion of the verification
program is a step forward, confirming its ability to integrate into
virtualized environments. Many iXsystems clients already back their
XenServer infrastructure with TrueNAS, enjoying management and
reliable performance.
