Buffalo Revealing USB 3.0 Ministation Portable HDDs

Buffalo Technology
(UK) Ltd, launched a slimline, powerful portable hard drive
range, the MiniStation
series.

These additions to the company’s portable storage portfolio are
available in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacity. The 500GB version features
a 7mm thick HDD, with the device measuring a mere 11.5mm thick and
weighing 165 grams.

The USB 3.0 devices offer users high-speed data transfers of up to
5GB/s, roughly 1,000 digital photos in just 9 seconds, up to four
times faster than USB 2.0. The drives utilise Buffalo Tools TurboPC
EX software, which enhances data transfer performance.

The HDD series is compatible with OSs, including Windows
8, 7, Vista and XP and Mac OS X 10.6 or later.
